Business Partners
Commuters and Ground Transportation Providers can find the requirements to obtain permits, badges and/or parking passes below. Commuters
General Information:
- For change of address or vehicle information, please fill out form completely.
- Additional AVI tag may be issued for another vehicle if spouse is not a commuter. You may only have one (1) vehicle in the lot at a time under each commuter permit.
- AVI tags MUST be picked up at the Airport during regular business hours.
- Airline badge will need to be shown to receive tag.
- You can also bring the documents to Airport Administration during regular business hours: Monday- Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (closed for lunch from 12:00 – 1:00 PM).
New or Renewal:
Please fill out Commuter Parking Form completely.
Once application is received, you will be provided with instructions on setting up a Business Partner’s Portal account, which will allow for online credit card payment, if desired.
Fees: Check or cash (exact amount) accepted. Credit card accepted through Business Partner Portal only.
- Single AVI Tag – $200.00 annually plus applicable tax (currently 7% or $14.00)
- Additional AVI Tag – $15.00

New Ground Transportation Company
All ground transportation activities on Destin Fort-Walton Beach are governed by Okaloosa County Ordinance. Click this link to download the ordinance.
Required Documents:
- Completed Ground Transportation Permit Application form
- Okaloosa County Business Tax Receipt in Company Name
- Certificate of Insurance (COI) to include vehicles and drivers listed, minimum requirement is $300,000 COMBINED SINGLE LIMIT. Okaloosa County Airports must be listed as Certificate Holder.
- Vehicle Inspection report (to be completed by Sheriff’s Deputy onsite)

Company Renewal / New Permit

New Driver
Required Documents:
- Completed Driver Application form, signed by company owner or manager
- National background check to include sexual predator/offender search (sentrylink.com is the easiest)
- Business tax receipt in driver’s name
- Updated Certificate of Insurance (COI) with new driver added
- Driver’s License
- Driver’s Motor Vehicle report
- Badge Fee
Driver Switching Companies
Required Documents:
- Completed Driver Application form, signed by company owner or manager (link to form)
- Updated Certificate of Insurance (COI) with new driver added
- Badge for new company (can either keep current expiration or start fresh with new Motor Vehicle Report)
- Badge Fee
Fees:
Check or cash (exact amount) accepted. Credit card accepted through Business Partner Portal only.
- Badge $35
- Permit $175 plus applicable tax (currently 7%) – Prorated through end of September.
